Styled Maternity Model Call

I’m looking for expecting couples to help me build a new maternity portfolio.

I’m currently expanding the maternity side of Veronica Charisse Photography and creating a collection of fully styled maternity sessions at several different locations throughout the Wendover and surrounding areas.

These sessions will include a variety of looks and settings, including:

  • Knolls, Utah

  • The Bonneville Salt Flats

  • Selected outdoor locations around West Wendover, Nevada

Each location will have its own styling, wardrobe, mood, and overall aesthetic.

These are not traditional booked maternity sessions. They are fully styled portfolio sessions, meaning I’ll be creating and directing the look from beginning to end so the final images fit the exact vision I’m building for my maternity portfolio.

What Does “Fully Styled” Mean?

For these sessions, I’ll be acting as both your photographer and creative director.

I’ll choose the overall concept, location, session time, color palette, wardrobe, styling direction, and posing so that every part of the session works together.

Depending on the location, the final look may be soft and romantic, natural and earthy, clean and modern, or more dramatic and editorial.

Who I’m Looking For

Because these images are being created specifically for my portfolio and future marketing, I am casting for a very particular look.

I’m looking for expecting couples with an active or athletic build, a polished overall appearance, and a willingness to fully participate in the styling process.

Ideally, mama will be approximately 28–34 weeks pregnant at the time of the session with a clearly visible and defined baby bump.

Both partners should be comfortable wearing fitted, styled clothing and being photographed closely together.

This is a casting call rather than a first-come booking. Applying does not guarantee selection.

The Locations

Knolls, Utah

Knolls offers a beautiful, open desert landscape that can create a very different maternity look from my traditional Salt Flats work.

Depending on the concept, this session may feel earthy, warm, natural, or slightly more adventurous.

Wardrobe will be chosen specifically to complement the landscape and overall vision.

Bonneville Salt Flats

The Bonneville Salt Flats sessions will have a clean, striking, and more editorial feel.

The open landscape allows the couple and the maternity silhouette to become the main focus of the images.

These sessions may include more fitted or structured wardrobe pieces, monochromatic styling, and stronger editorial posing.

West Wendover, Nevada

I’ll also be creating maternity sessions at selected outdoor locations around West Wendover.

These may include simple green areas, trees, bushes, open spaces, or other locations that photograph beautifully even if they are not traditional destination spots.

These sessions will likely have a softer, more romantic and natural feel, with wardrobe and styling chosen to complement the environment.

What You’ll Receive

My normal session fee (total value $2,785) will be waived for the selected couples.

In exchange for participating in the styled session, following the creative direction, purchasing the required wardrobe, having professional hair and makeup completed, and signing the model release, you’ll receive:

After viewing your proofing gallery, you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase additional digital images or upgrade to the full gallery if you would like more.

Wardrobe and professional hair and makeup costs are the responsibility of the participating couple.
