When this gorgeous high school senior traveled all the way from Texas to Utah for her senior portraits, I knew we were going to create something special. But when she brought out not one, but TWO absolutely breathtaking gowns from Utah Gowns, I was beyond excited!
There's something about combining an incredible gown with the wide-open landscape of the Bonneville Salt Flats that creates pure magic. And this session was the perfect example!

Why I LOVE Statement Gowns for Salt Flats Senior Photos
One of my favorite things about photographing at the Bonneville Salt Flats is how beautifully simple the landscape is.
Miles of open space, endless horizons, and the most incredible natural light create a backdrop unlike anywhere else.
But here's where wardrobe makes such a difference.
The right gown doesn't just complement the scenery. It brings the entire photograph to life!
Think flowing fabric catching the breeze, beautiful textures, gorgeous colors against the salt, and dramatic movement that makes a photograph feel almost like something out of a magazine.

One of the things I loved most about this session was having two different gowns to work with.
An outfit change can completely transform the mood of your photographs without ever changing locations!
It's one of the reasons I love when clients choose a session that allows enough time for wardrobe changes. We can create different looks, take advantage of changing light, and give your final gallery so much more variety.
